I just finished a great book by Peter Dunne called Emotional Structure. Mr. Dunne explores the deepest wellsprings of character emotion. He illustrates the integration of those emotions into a rich story by showing how a screenplay develops through successive drafts. I highly recommend this book and I’ll be referring to it often.
